Here Comes Santa Claus
We went to see Santa Claus this weekend for the first time ever. I have never taken Noah to see Santa and I was a little nervous about how he would react. Needless to say he did great...matter fact after the line for pictures cleared he would run up to Santa and give him five and then run away.

Update!
I have so many things to update you on...so here goes! The Zumbathon was incredible. We raised about $3,000 and it has been a tremendous help with the last trip we went on. Cyndi, Bridgett, Longview Heights Baptist Church, and all you Zumba lovers are angels. The more I think about you as I am sitting here...i just overflow with tears. You can't imagine how greatful I am for your support.
We also set up a booth at the Bridgetown Crafts Fair last month and it was a great success. We had candy and original art work. Some of you may know that my stepdad is a wonderful artists and he sold 8 of his paintings to help with Noahs Little Ears. He was so excited and we were excited for him.
Finally, Noah just had his 3rd surgery. This surgery was stage 2 on both ears. We flew into California on Wed. (Oct 27), surgery was on Thurs. (Oct 28), and then we flew home on Fri. (Oct 29). So it was the shortest trip of all the surgeries. Noah was in surgery for about 3 hours and when he woke up we were able to go back to the hotel and rest. Well...I wanted to rest, Noah had other plans. He was ready to play with all the other kids at the hotel. When we got home Noah was able to dress up for halloween and go trick-or-treating. On Thurs. (Nov 4) we went to see a plastic surgeon here in Memphis and he took the bandages off and some of the stitches out. Noah was excited. He stopped me as we were leaving the office to look at his reflection in the window of the doctors office. I told him he could see better if we went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, so he made a mad dash to the restroom.
Noah is doing fabulous! He has such a great spirit even after everything he has been through. Oh, if we all had such childlike faith, what amazing things we could accomplish.

The Yard Sale Was a Success
The Yard Sale was a great success. We worked hard and made lots of money to help pay for Noah's new ears. We were up at 4:00am and our first lull in customers was about 1:30pm. We started packing up about 2:00pm. We almost sold everything we had. There were just a few things that we had to take to goodwill.
Thank you so much for your donations. It wouldn't have been as successful without each of you. I would like to say a special thank you to my Mom, Stepdad, Aunt, Dad, and Stepmom. I don't know what I would do with out you!

Pictures
I finally took the time to get some of the pictures from our first visit to California on the blog. To see them click on the Photo page listed above and you should be able to see all the slideshows. I will now work on getting some of the pictures from the second surgery posted.
Noah is doing so well. He has been swimming like a little fish and spending lots of time with his brother, sister, and cousins. It is really going to be hard getting him back into the routine of going to school.

Just Getting Started
Thank you for visiting and wanting to learn more about whats going on with Noah and his ear reconstruction. We are so very excited to be going through this process and hope you enjoy following. I am just getting started with the blog and updated pictures, so please be patient and check back often.
We will begin having fundraisers very soon, because these surgeries are very expensive and insurance doesn't cover everything. I will post as much information as I can on the blog, so that everyone stays up to date.
Thank you!
